From the very beginning, Zhanna dreamed of becoming an actress, but she did not pass by age and entered the director’s office. When she started making her first short films, she realized that she enjoyed being in the frame and not behind it. As a student, Jeanne got along well with the teachers. One of them invited the girl to try herself as a teacher. After graduating from the institute, Zhanna taught at the Kyiv Institute for several years.
Realizing that the role of a teacher does not suit her, Zhanna Badoeva gets a job on television. With her first man, Zhanna Badoeva spent two years in marriage and gave birth to a son, Boris. But the marriage was not crowned with success: the sophomore Zhanna was left alone with the child in her arms and went to live with her parents. “When Boris was born, a very long-awaited, desired child for us, somehow everything coincided: seven years of marriage, the birth of our first son (although my husband has a daughter from his first marriage, but his son is the first), and my admission to the institute . Borya was only eight months old when I started directing. My personal growth began – both as a mother and as a woman, because before that I was completely under the care of my husband, a completely obedient child, and his opinion was fundamental to me. And then I had my own opinion, I came from the institute with my own vision of some issues. And Igor is such a person: he is very strong, but, as a man, he should be not just number one, but the only one. Of course, this period was very difficult, there was a whole bunch of all sorts of problems, but first of all, the husband could not come to terms with the fact that that he ceased to be my only authority. As a result, he set a condition for me – either I leave the institute, or we get divorced. I chose the institute, to be honest, not fully believing that Igor would fulfill his promise. But he kept it.”
Their second husband was the famous director and clip maker Alan Badoev. They met at the institute, got married, and lived in marriage for 9 years. During this time, they raised their son Zhanna together from Boris’s first marriage, and a few years later their daughter Lolita was born. In 2012, Badoev fans were shocked by the news about the divorce of the spouses. Zhanna Badoeva commented on this and said that love had passed.
