Scientists at the Medical College of Houston (USA) claim that travel helps people feel younger, smarter, and more attractive.
It is known that adults feel time more “compressed” than children. Experts believe that traveling to uncharted places (and the more exotic the better) triggers processes in the brain that allow adults to experience the world the way children do.
The duration of the trip is not so important. Even one or two weeks in an unfamiliar place help a person become younger.
In addition to expanding our horizons, traveling abroad makes us smarter and develops creative inclinations. This happens thanks to planning and organizing trips, thinking through situations that can happen to us in an unfamiliar place.
American psychologist William Meduks believes that people who live abroad often reveal their creative abilities. By the way, he says that it is for this reason that he himself works in France.
However, not everyone can simply develop their creativity. Much depends on how you travel: if you spend most of your time in the office (for example, on a business trip), in a hotel, or watching TV, then it is unlikely that you will be able to discover something new in yourself
Traveling makes people seem sexier. People most often return from vacation with a beautiful tan and fascinating stories. Travel is one of the top conversation topics on a first date, along with hobbies, studies show.
