Yuri Shatunov has always hidden his family. However, just a few months before his death, the singer shared with fans details about the creative talent of his little daughter.
Despite their enormous popularity, Yuri Shatunov always managed to keep his personal life secret. Very little is known about the family of the 48-year-old artist. At the end of 2000, Yuri met his future wife Svetlana and they began to live together in Germany. In 2006, the couple had a son, Dennis, and six months after that, the lovers officially got married. In 2013, Yuri and Svetlana had a daughter, Estella. Shatunov also said that his wife is focused on raising children, while he provides for his family through his creativity.
There are almost no photos of Yuri Shatunov with his wife and children on the Web. In open sources, there are only a couple of shots taken many years ago. Perhaps in the future, the singer’s relatives will still come out of the shadows and talk about how Yuri was not in public. Shatunov himself assured that he and his wife agreed not to show their personal lives on social networks. And do not publish photos of children until they are 18 years old.
However, it was difficult for a happy father not to boast of the successes of his heirs. In the spring of 2022, during a concert tour in Russia, Shatunov turned on the audience to a video in which his 9-year-old daughter sings the Russian folk song “Am I to blame.” The artist did not show the image of the girl – but the fans were glad to at least hear Estella’s voice.
“My daughter likes some of my songs. Still, sometimes we sing together, to the harmonica, folk songs. This, here, is the answer to your questions, what language do my children speak!” Shatunov shared with fans.
