PornHub often shares interesting traffic statistics, and this time they also shared, saying that the spread of the coronavirus had a positive impact on their traffic.
Offices have closed, people are locked up in self-isolation: this greatly affects our daily habits and routines. So Forbes magazine asked PornHub to look at the stats and tell how it affected traffic and searches on the site.
PornHub’s stats have been changing ever since the coronavirus hit. Since people began self-isolating at home, PornHub traffic has grown by as much as 11%:
- In Italy, attendance increased by 57% compared to February. Most of all, the site hung on March 11, and after that, the attendance began to decline: already on March 17, Italians began to visit this resource by 32% more than in February
- In France, attendance has increased by 38% since March 13, after all, schools and universities were quarantined on March 12.
- In Spain, attendance increased by as much as 61%, and the peak, according to representatives of PornHub, fell on March 17, while on March 14, Spanish authorities restricted the movement of citizens around the country.
Below is the rankings are the USA and Canada with an increase in attendance of 6.4% and 7.2%, respectively. In Australia, attendance increased by 5.2%. In these countries, there have not yet been strict restrictions, so people still go to work

And we recall that PornHub often pays attention to global issues. For example, last year the site made a film to draw the attention of users to environmental pollution.
From each viewing, the company sends money to the non-profit organization Ocean Polymers, which cleans the oceans of plastic.
A pair of Leolulu porn actors were involved in the filming of the charity video, and in the film’s trailer, they are walking along a dirty beach with plastic everywhere. Later, people dressed in protective suits appear in the frame, collecting garbage scattered everywhere.
