An American named Claire suffers from psoriasis. In 2021, the girl decided to start a blog dedicated to this disease in order to better accept herself and teach others about it.

Psoriasis is a non-infectious inflammatory skin disease. It manifests itself in the form of dry red plaques with clearly defined borders, covered with small white scales. Important: psoriasis is not contagious, unlike, for example, various types of lichen. 

Nevertheless, many people still shun people with psoriasis, which, of course, does not add confidence to its owners. So, an American named Claire once decided to change people’s attitude towards this disease, and also learn to accept themselves. And she started a blog on Instagram (The social network is recognized as extremist and banned in the territory of the Russian Federation) dedicated to psoriasis. And self-acceptance, of course. 

In less than a year, more than 30,000 people signed up for Claire. With them, the girl shares not only the details of how she fights the disease and its exacerbations but also talks about how she learns to love herself, despite the fact that she is not like everyone else. As proof, Claire publishes “naked” photos: yes, her body is covered with spots, but this does not make her any less beautiful, sexy, or attractive. Do you agree with her?
